Tiki is very beautiful. I hope my comments were ok with you. I did not want to come off as being judgemental at all. B&G Macaws are wonderful, if you get them when they are babys, they bond to you right off the bat. But you got Tiki after 4 different people had already had him. I am betting he is a bit confused and not in a happy place right now. I am sure he will not settle in for a long time. You dont know how those other people treated him. My best advice to you if I may, is take it real slow with him at first. See how he responds to you, your home, other pets..etc. Dont rush him in any way. And please dont let other people handle him right now, he needs to know you are the mom! Work with him everyday. Let him have as much freedom as posible. He will be Moody alot but thats ok. I have B&G Macaws...for over 9 years now, I think I have lots of experience as far as my MAcaws go...I just want to help if I can. These Macaws are so beautiful and smart.
