So I just need a few things done and the room will be complete. I am going to get tie backs for the curtains so I can tie them back to let sun in the room. I just put them up yesterday. I will also be buying fleece to hang in the windows during the winter time to keep the warm heat in and the cold air out! I also will be removing the tables in Coqui's corner so we can put Coqui's cage there. And when I have a better selection of pictures of Coqui, those will go up in this room as well. Both Savannah and Coqui will have play gyms in the middle of the floor. Hope you enjoyed the photos!

If you haven't seen the before photos or the photos of my progress on the bird room, you can find them here:

BEAUTIFUL, Blanca!!!! You outdid yourself! I LOVE the trees, they so look like the belong. And what a BEAUTIFUL touch with the curtains!! LOVE your storage bins, too!!!

That room will make for some VERY happy birdies - NO doubt!! :D

...now how many more days until the room is all filled up??? :54:

Thanks Wendy! :D I absolutely love it and couldn't be happier with it. The curtains are actually shower curtains! LOL! I bought one to go over the door where Coqui will be, to protect the door, loved it so much, I decided to make them curtains on the windows. ;)

19 days and counting! :D :D :D

First of all, that LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! GREAT JOB!!!

The only suggestion I would have would be moving that one cage in the corner a little further forward to prevent you know who from getting ahold of your new curtains, and chewing holes in them...

Thanks Birdman666! Are you talking about Savannah's giant cage or the Linnie cage? Savannah is not generally allowed to roam on her cage a lot (cage territorial!) and if she does, she is not generally one to chew on much other then wood! :)

The Linnies on the other hand, I will move the cage a bit forward so there little beaks don't chew on the curtains. Good call! :D

I like the painted tree on the wall...wish I was artistic! What is your wall color and brand? It really is sharp with the white trim!!!

I have a similar set up. Only mine are blinds instead of curtains. One day, after cleaning the room, I moved the big amazon playstand a little too close to the blinds, which are made of wood, and do look like inviting bird toys...

My zon knew better than to chew on them, but my CAG soon discovered the error, and spent the rest of the day making toothpicks!

So those sort of things just pop out at me now..

Those trees are actually decorating decals! So easy to put them up. I found them on ebay. Each one was less then $12 bucks so I got 3!

The paint is Glidden from home depot and it is grape vine.

Thanks Copperarabian, Abigal7 & Getwozzy!

I do feel very lucky to have the space for a bird room. We had built in an inlaw apartment for my Mom when we moved into the house 10 years ago. My mom moved out a few years ago to move into senior housing. We rented to a couple of people but we didn't like renting to people we didn't know, especially since it's in our house. So we decided not to rent anymore and opened up the apartment for our use. With that, we had room for a bird room! :D I know, lucky girl! ;)

I admit, it really did all come together so wonderfully! I love the finished room!!! Everything really compliments everything else!!!!

Well done! :D
