For this (or similar) toys all you need is some wood (if colored, make sure it's SAFELY colored), QUICKLINK, Wiffle Ball, leather strips, Poly rope and other bird/parrot safe ingredients.


The majority of my parts came from MySafeBirdStore.


Mine is for a Double Yellow Head Amazon (who just discovered the woodchick in him), hence so much wood. ;)

No, this toy is for Amazon/Greys/Eclectus sized birds. I would definitely use smaller parts for conures/caiques, and even MUCH smaller for cockatiels and smaller birds. Oh, and I would never bother making this for my Macaw as it would have been a waste of time since my Niko would destroy a toy like that in a matter of minutes, starting with the wiffle ball which holds it all together ;)
