Ozzie - alexandrine parakeet
So yesterday, if you don't know, I post about how Ozzie was flying for the first time ever! If you want to know the story, here's the link - http://www.parrotforums.com/alexandrines/27991-true-clipped-birds-can-fly.html

Anyway, today I took Ozzie out again, and it seems that he is even more confident with his flying, and took off again. But he wasn't flying as high today, because it wasn't as windy as yesterday.

I've made my decision that when Ozzie's feathers grows out, I'm only planning on trimming just a little bit. Because seeing him fly was just amazing! And he seems to be very happy when he opens his wings in the air. It looks almost like he is smiling ;)

Here's a few photo that I took, sorry it's not very clear, I took it from my iPhone so it's not the best quality.

Here is a photo showing how much he is clipped -

Now here's pic of him flying :)

I'm so impressed you took these with your phone.

Thank you! :D

Please post LOTS of photos of Rosie! I really enjoy them!

The iPhone is not the best quality, I'm planning on getting a good camera soon! So I can post better pics of Ozzie! :)

i'll make it like fargos photo shoot thread and include lots of photos. I'm glad that you like them :D

I have a iPhone 3, it takes decent photos but has a lot of trouble with movement and lags a little. When you get a camera make sure it can take rapid shutter, that's the best for high action shots such as a bird flying. Also different memory cards have different speeds, go for the fastest and try to not use a card with more than 4gb of memory, it generally makes the card slower.

Very cool photos, I can never snap my birds in flight, they're too quick!

I have a iPhone 3 too, yes, it has trouble taking photos that moves very fast, like when Ozzie is flying. And great info there! I'll try to take some pics tomorrow if I have time! And see the difference! :)
