Hi!

My girl is 4 and I've had her since she was a baby. She's only ever been friendly to me ;(. She has now become obnoxious in that the minute my husband is anywhere she can see him she screams non stop.

With 3 kiddos and all, I'm sad that I don't have enough time for her and that no one else can approach her. My husband has had enough and I'd like to find a good home for her. I won't drop her off to anyone but if anyone is in the New England area and is looking please reach out. I will try and board her until I find her a proper home.

The same thing happened to me over 25 years ago. The love of my life Willie a B&G started screaming every time my husband pulled in the driveway. He despised him. Well I was given the ultimatum of him or the bird. I chose my husband. Now after 32 years of marriage I've left and could of had Willie all of that time.

If you'd like a forever home for your bird please contact me. I currently have an African Gray I rescued 21 years ago and she's still with me.

Hi Dulphinz,

I saw your post on the website here after being redirected from another member who saw your post.

I've been looking to adopt a macaw and had posted a thread last week. I hadn't seen your post until now.
Link to my post last week: http://www.parrotforums.com/macaws/69931-best-way-go-about-getting-macaw-2.html

I live in Littleton, MA and would be interested in your bird.

A little about myself. I'm a divorced father of 4 w/ my youngest being 16. I have had lots of pets over the years and they have all been my best friends. They're all gone now (dogs and cats) so I've become more serious about getting a Macaw and have been searching for several years and like I said. more serious the last 6-12 months or so. I've been doing a lot of research and have been learning as much as I can.

I own my own home (very welcoming) and work quite close to home (5 minutes in Westford). I usually eat lunch @ home daily during the week. I have ample room in my house and could easily afford to have a large cage in my house.

I've always wanted a bird of my own and have never been intimidated by the size of the macaws when I've been around them. There is no one to tell me I can't or that its them or the bird etc.

I know it must be hard to decide to part ways with your bird but I would certainly take good care of your B&G girl. Let me know if you're still looking to re-home and whatever other details you would like to share.

I don't have enough posts(20 needed) to be able to PM you through the forum. I can certainly have a phone call to discuss.
