Our Neighborhood "Kevin" The Peacock

We have a peacock that runs around the neighborhood and today I tried to "save" him from getting hit by cars. I call him Kevin after watching the movie Up. This was my first time to interact with a peacock. I guess I saved him because he had stopped traffic, I got out to coax him to move off the road. Well he "followed" me off the road with his tail raised. OK fine, he chased me!!!! My sprinting still works. Myself and a couple of other strangers were cracking up.

I think it is SO COOL that you have a neighborhood peacock!! He's gorgeous and I'm cracking up picturing him chasing you around.

Folks, we are leading off this evenings news report with an update on the lady that was saved by our local Peacock! As reported earlier, our hero 'Kevin' has once again come to the aid of a resident that had become confused and apparently found herself on the roadway. Well, Kevin had to go into full presentation mode to move her off the roadway and to safety. A well deserved Thanks to our Kevin for chasing this lady off the street!

Very nice. Glad you were able to save it. I loved that movie. In a neighborhood I grew up in, there was an area being called "The Bunny Trail" because it had large acres, pine trees, rabbits and lots of peacocks too. I don't believe they are there anymore but I remember the peacocks growing up and being chased by one while riding my bike.
