So i was reading the thread about the greencheeck mutations and i was wondering if sunny's had any? i saw a sun with all white flight feathers which i thot was pretty cool!:)) but thats about it? is there such a thing as an albino sun conure??!!?!?!

I know there are red factor sun conures where they're just a darker orangey red color instead of the yellow-orange. Those are pretty cool :) other than that I'm afraid I can't help much lol.
Can you send a link to that sun with the white? I'd like to see.

Yea, there are red factor or otherwise known as single factor sun conures.

Mine is more of a dark orange to red as you can see in the photo but some people have very red factor sun conures as you can see below.

Now, mine is only 11 month old, she may turn a darker red.

I believe there is also a pied mutation in sun conures.

Yes there is a pied. I do breed them. Although mine are not as good as i want them to be. I will keep trying until i get it right.

Although that is a nice color. And i must confess i love blue birds. I don't think that would be a true Blue although i would have to say maybe a Par-Blue, the same gene that, when fully inactive creates the Blue mutation, can be partially activated to create intermediate colour mutations (partway between green & blue) known as Par-blue.

I love the bright yellow suns if I'm honest. They just look so bright and cheery and 'sunny'!
Would love to have a sun but conures are just too loud for me. :(

that is a beautiful bird! i wanna see one in person, i think all sunny's r beautiful haha every1 always tells me about their noise but i actually like their sounds:) idk y haha

Any more info on the blue sun conures? Frankly, the picture looks photoshopped to me, but if it is from a believable source, maybe not. How many times do you see a blue series birds in species that have yellow/orange/red as their primary colors? Sure would like a geneticist to say if this blue sun is even possible.

Hello, i'm from belgium and i'm looking for someone that can help me to find a red factor sun conure and that can help me with shipping the bird to belgium?

Friendly regards

I just love my sun conure, and someday (at least 5 years from now) I would like to get another conure, but I want a diferant color then what i have now. I have heard of sun cheeks, is that a cross between a sun and a green cheek?

This thread is QUITE old. :54:

What are the import/export regulations in Belgium? Are there any red factor breeders in your country?

Yes, that would be a hybrid.
