Mirror toys and nanday conures?

So I recently got a new foster, Pricilla the nanday conure.
She recently was separated from a bird she was kind of bonded to, she seems to be doing alright though. I just got her yesterday so I understand her shyness I haven't really tried to make her step up or do anything exciting.
Buut she came to me in a huge flight cage with 3-4 mirror toys in her cage. As a rule I don't like mirror toys at all but I don't know if I should remove them or wait until she gets adopted and have them make the call.
She spends most of her time looking at one of them and if she gets nervous she bites the toy and let's it swing, so I think she thinks it's another bird.
This is not good, as first of all I'd like to be able to handle her, and second my sun conure, Sunny really wants to be friend and she seems totally uninterested, which is driving Sunny insane. :/
Plus I can't imagine it's good for her to be attached to a reflection of herself.
So help?

I've never given mine any mirror toys. I have shown her her reflection in the bathroom mirror though.

I guess it's your call on whether to leave them or take them away. You could try taking them away and see what happens.

Thanks, I just don't want to put her through any extra stress after the loss of a mate, I think I'll give her until Friday then remove one and replace it with a new toy one at a time, if she overly freaks Ill rethink my course of action.
On the seeing her reflection that's much different then living with her reflection. :/

I agree it's totally different.

If she is shy, she may be afraid initially of all new toys. You may have to do what I'm doing with my amazon, who never had toys before me. I have to set them next to his cage, then hang it on the outside of the cage near the bottom and gradually move it higher each day before I can put it in.
